This weekend in Arlington will be busy, with the city’s swimming pools opening and live music concerts.

Here’s a quick look at what’s going on:

What: The city’s two family aquatic centers will open at full capacity on Saturday.


  • Saturday May 29: 12 p.m.-7 p.m.
  • Sunday, May 30: 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Monday May 31: 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Where: Bad Königshofen Family Aquatic Center, 2800 W. Publett Road and Randol Mill Family Aquatic Center, 1924 Randol Mill Park Road

Cost: $ 8 for guests under four feet and $ 8.50 for anyone taller. Season passes are $ 55. Babies under one year old are free.

What: The Levitt Lodge in Arlington will host outdoor concerts the whole weekend.

On Friday night, the Tejas Brothers will be offering what they call a mix of Tex-Mex and honky tonk. On Saturday night, the Drifters will take the stage with classics like “Under the Boardwalk”, “This Magic Moment” and “Stand By Me.. ” And on Sunday, William Beckmann will bring his mix of traditional country, American and Latin music.
