Brampton will benefit from a new concert hall

A town in Cumbria is to benefit from a new concert hall.

In an effort to offer live musical events to its events program, the Brampton Community Center has developed a brand image under which they will be promoted.

Under the so-called “Live @ Union Lane” banner, quality music of all genres will be staged regularly in the center starting with the first concert on Friday 20 May.

Center Director James Burke said he was keen to accommodate these events within the varied program the center offers to the local community and is confident this new venture will be well supported.

He said: “After securing our first gig with the booking of famous jazz singer Jo Harrop, we started looking for the best way to promote live music to our potential audience and came up with the idea of developing a separate branding to allow the public to differentiate these events from other center activities and thus ‘Live @ Union Lane’ came into existence.

Jo Harrop, with his quartet of fine musicians, will play Live @ Union Lane on May 20 with doors opening at 7pm and tickets £10. are available at the community center or post office in person, or by clicking here.
