Classical music lovers arrived at the venue with high expectations and they were impressed by the unique invention of the juxtaposition of vocals and classical instrumentation called TaalBrahma, which was performed on the last day. The audience cheered, applauded and enjoyed the unique creations as musicians Rakesh Chaurasia on flute, sitarist Purbayan Chatterjee, Ustad Qureshi and Pandit Palsule collaborated to create innovative pieces on stage.
Kaushiki Chakraborty said, “It’s amazing to be back on stage. I did a few shows after things opened up, but it’s very special to play with fellow musicians who are also your friends. Not only did I miss those improvisations we were doing on stage, but I also missed interacting with the audience.
“There is nothing better than physical performance,” added Chakraborty.
